What the Army ACFT Points Calculator helps you understand

Repeat measurements under similar conditions for a more useful trend.

This ACFT Points Calculator is a streamlined tool focused purely on converting raw event performances into ACFT point values. Unlike comprehensive fitness assessments, this calculator prioritizes speed and simplicity — enter your numbers, see your points, know your status. It is ideal for use during training sessions where soldiers want quick feedback without navigating complex features. The tool displays each event's points alongside the 60-point minimum threshold and the 100-point maximum, making it immediately clear where each event falls on the scoring spectrum. The total score is computed as the sum of all six events, with the maximum possible being 600.

Check the calculator labels before entering a value.
How are points distributed across ACFT events?+

Each event contributes 0-100 points equally. There is no weighting — the deadlift contributes the same maximum (100 points) as the 2-mile run. This equal weighting means balanced fitness is rewarded over specialization.

What total score is considered competitive?+

Scores above 500 (averaging 83+ per event) are competitive. Scores above 550 are excellent. A perfect 600 is achieved by fewer than 1% of soldiers who take the ACFT.

Can I compensate for a weak event with a strong one?+

No, every event must score at least 60 points independently. You cannot make up for a failing event score by excelling in another. This ensures well-rounded physical fitness.

Are bonus points available on the ACFT?+

No, the ACFT does not award bonus or extended scale points beyond 100 per event. The maximum total score is 600, regardless of how far beyond the 100-point threshold a soldier performs.
