What the Army PT Score Calculator helps you understand

Repeat measurements under similar conditions for a more useful trend.

The Army PT Score Calculator helps soldiers estimate their total score on the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which replaced the APFT as the Army's record physical fitness test. The ACFT consists of six events: the 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift, Standing Power Throw, Hand-Release Push-Up, Sprint-Drag-Carry, Plank, and Two-Mile Run. Each event is scored from 0 to 100 points based on performance tables that are adjusted by age group and gender. A minimum of 60 points per event is required to pass, and the total maximum is 600 points. This tool accepts your raw performance in each event and converts it to the corresponding point value using the official ACFT scoring tables.

Official scoring tables and policies change; validate any result with current Army guidance.

Check the calculator labels before entering a value.
What is the minimum passing score on the ACFT?+

You must score at least 60 points on every event, with no minimum total beyond the sum of all event minimums (360). Scoring below 60 on any single event is a failure regardless of total score.

Are ACFT scoring tables adjusted by age and gender?+

Yes, the ACFT uses age- and gender-normed scoring tables. Older soldiers and female soldiers may have adjusted performance thresholds that equate to the same point values.

How often must soldiers take the ACFT?+

Soldiers are required to take a record ACFT at least twice per year. Diagnostic (practice) ACFTs may be administered more frequently and do not count as record tests.

What replaced the APFT?+

The ACFT replaced the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), which consisted of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 2-mile run. The ACFT added deadlift, standing power throw, sprint-drag-carry, hand-release push-ups, and plank events.
