What the Army ACFT Score Calculator helps you understand

Repeat measurements under similar conditions for a more useful trend.

This ACFT Score Calculator provides detailed per-event point breakdowns so soldiers can see exactly how each event contributes to their total score. Beyond a simple pass/fail, understanding your point distribution reveals your fitness profile — are you strong but slow, or fast with weak upper body? The ACFT's six-event structure means soldiers have more events where they can compensate for a relative weakness, but also more events where a single poor performance (below 60 points) causes an overall failure. This calculator helps with training prioritization by showing where the most points are being left on the table. For example, improving your plank from 2:00 to 3:00 might add 15 points, while cutting your run by 30 seconds might add 10 — helping you decide where to focus limited training time.

Check the calculator labels before entering a value.
How are ACFT points calculated?+

Each event has a scoring table that maps raw performance to points from 0-100. The tables are age- and gender-normed. Your total is the sum of all six event scores, with a possible maximum of 600.

What event do most soldiers score lowest on?+

Historically, the Sprint-Drag-Carry and Two-Mile Run tend to have the most failures. The SDC challenges anaerobic capacity and functional strength simultaneously, while the run remains a persistent weak area.

Does ACFT score affect promotions?+

ACFT scores can be considered in promotion boards and officer evaluations. Higher scores demonstrate physical readiness and may contribute to a competitive advantage in selection processes.

Can I retake individual ACFT events?+

No, the ACFT is a single-session test. All six events must be completed in order on the same day. If you fail any event, you retake the entire ACFT at a later date.
